PrEP Resources for Clinicians

The Australian PrEP Guidelines and Biomedical Prevention chapter from HIV Management are both provided here in pdf. They are complete and provided for the convenience of clinicians thinking about PrEP now. They will both be developed into searchable web resources and released in that format shortly.

The Communique details current information about PrEP and links to the Australian PrEP Guidelines and to the ACON Ending HIV website which carries detailed instructions for the personal importation of PrEP. An updated (April 2015) Position Statement on PrEP provides an outline on current evidence on PrEP, issuing caution when importing generic brands of PrEP from overseas and outlining limitations which may affect the availability and clinical use of PrEP.
